A Little More About Me
Random facts that have made me who I am and a contender for being the "Most Interesting Man in the World":
-I am the first in my family to be born in the USA, therefore its first "natural born" citizen
-I did not speak much English until I went to school, but I never finished Kindergarten... there was no such thing as ESL assistance
-I moved to LA from Chicago when i was 9 and grew up in the South Bay... my parents divorced when i was in high school, difficult!
-I have attended private elementary / middle school, public high school, community college and graduated from Occidental College in '81
-I was a successful student-athlete throughout my school years, being named All-Tournament @ Chico State, 1st Team All-SCIAC, All-Tournament at NCAA D3 Far West Regionals and 2nd Team All-West District NCAA D3... back in the day!
-I miraculously still hold a few school records at Occidental College, located in Eagle Rock
-I have had three careers, teaching is my third one after professional basketball in Europe and auto dealership management
-I have lived abroad and traveled throughout the US, Europe, Israel and Africa. I hope to add to my travel log!
-I still speak German, but not as well as I wish
-I am happily married and have three grown children... and four grandkids!
-My only daughter got married summer 2016, what an adventure!
-I LOVE teaching and working with students of all kinds
